ECONOMICS

My research interests are in urban economics.

Urban memory

How the places we inherit shape the lives we can build.

Urban memory is a long-term research motivation: understanding how inherited urban spaces, institutions, and shared practices shape the opportunities available to individuals and communities.

I am interested in the distinction between what a city preserves, how people understand that inheritance, and what they can actually do with it. How do urban change, participation, and exclusion shape which opportunities endure, disappear, or emerge across generations?

This is an evolving research agenda, connecting urban economics with questions about feasible opportunities and collective life.
